Any news on crash to desktop-problem? How about the stutter one?

There is no single common cause for the crash to desktop issues that various people are having.

Nothing about stuttering either.

We are looking at and fixing as many of the high frequency crashes as possible for the 1.1 patch which will be released "soon" (I am not in a position to make an official announcement regarding this).

There is no one single cause that affects all users for either crashes or the jerky scrolling issue.

As we have limited resources, we approach them by priority, with the most frequently reported crashes (i.e. from bug reports) being fixed first before a crash that may happen a handful of times, or only affect 1 user (as that user's system may be hosed).

So please do send in your bug reports, and if you don't mind, please fill out the e-mail field so that we can request any additional information we may require (i.e. a save game or recorded game).

First, the sound stuttering and the freezing/unfreezing problem has been posted many, many times and I hope a fix included in the patch. To date this game is unplayable, at least for me. I am convinced it's not my machine, I just finished the demo GC2 without a sinlgle problem. DOW is the ONLY application on my machine that is having problems.

Second, I can't send bug reports. Every time the bug report window comes up it collects the info it needs then bombs out saying send the information no internet access. I have cable so I always have internet.
