still trying install

Hello and thnx for all replys to previous post concerning inability to install past D.1 Well I tried to just keep feeding the disk but gave up after about 30 try's. A couple things, How do you install to the Hard Drive??? I am willing to try anything but need a bit more info. How does the installer find the files? Also can anyone help with a clean boot(using MSCONFIG) I tried to install after shutting everything off but got errors with installer, Im trying to do a selective startup but am unsure what services and apps to turn off. I have done it before but cannot remember,( haad trouble installing CFS 3, thats y I uninstalled sp2) So there u have it. Thnx to all. Graiskye

Just switch to diagnotic startup.

Also, just copy all the CDs to one folder on your hard drive, then try installing from there.

Hey thanks Uberjumper. Went of without a hitch. I am sa bit of a noob to the whole scene,(DoW), of that been into CFS3, and IL2FB(combat flt sims!). Just starting to get into the Ground pounders and the strategy, Been cutting my teeth on the SuddenStrike series,and others in that vien(?). I see you are from VAncouver. Ive lived there a couple a times on an off. Currentley home is the Okanagan Valley, Salmon Arm. Well that it just wanted to say thank you. ps Sorry bout the double thread thingy MOE mentioned I was having a moment and could not figure how to keep the thread going. Prob solved(RTFSCREEN)!!!!!
