Fatal scar error mission 9

i had to save the game about with about 1min left on the clock now everytime i load it comes up fatal scar error and tried to get the console up with ctrl+shift+~ but it doesn't seem to work

I had a 'fatal scar' error too - on the mission where you have to break into the chapel [can't remember if this was mission 9].

Found that it happened when I tried to clean up the entire map before opening the chapel doors. If I continued after the fatal scar error, I found I couldn't complete the mission. So I reloaded from a save before the error and played through sticking strictly to the main objective - found this triggered the events that allowed me to complete the mission.

So I guess that error means you've broken the mission script?
