I haven't been able to get this game to work from day one and I'm starting to get pissed off!

Just changed my grpahics card from an ATI Radeon 9200 to the above, but at least my ATI let me see the first level for a few seconds before crashing and there was nothing wrong with the colour!

Tried AGP aperture, rolling back drivers, using latest drivers, service pack 1 + 2, everything and I can't get the damned thing to work!

I'm sure it's something really simple, but i can't see it. If anybody can help, I'll definitely buy you a pint, (Or mail you one). Cheers!

Where do I start? Intially, the intro movie for the first level would freeze and crash after about a minute. I installed the latest Nvidia drivers, then the next time I loaded the game, the colours on the screen were all over the place and there were weird rectangles. (Just like when I was at University and we took these wierd pills in the union...). I went back to the previous drivers and now I'm back to square one.

It might have something to do with the fact that my motherboard is a piece of S**t, or it may be to do with the fact that I took a friend's advice and rolled back to particularly 'early' Nvidia drivers, as this rectified their problem with the game. It didn't fix the problem for me and I couldn't find the old drivers on the control panel to uninstall them.

Can you recommend a program to root out old drivers or their components and delete them? I want to try this as opposed to re-formatting the whole computer, cos my brother will lose his porn, (No seriously!). Then I can maybe look at sorting the DOW problem, (He's got Hiiiigh hopes, all together now...)

You might want to check your RAM out. It is most likely not a video related problem since you tried 2 different cards. I really doubt its a sound related problem. There was a link somewhere in forum for a good program to check for bad memory sticks. For some reason I can't find it right now.
