Raptors - no face/head post 1.10

I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere yet, but since installing the 1.10 patch all Chaos Raptors are missing the colour & detail on their faces or head (if Asp. Champ.) when playing a skirmish

Hardly a show stopper, but a little bit freaky.

Noticed during skirmish on Kasyr Lutien 3v3.

Can anyone confirm this is happening else where or is it just me?

Nope, apart from the two patches (1.01 & 1.10) it's a pristine install.
I've not had any graphical glitches other than those that snuck through release (eg:Terminator Hvy flamer/AC combo)
Running a Radeon X800 with a slightly older driver (4.8?) due to issues with the catalyst 4.9 in other applications.

They were ok on Saturday before I patched & since the patch they all have no faces.

On closer inspection it would seem that it's not just their faces. There are several areas that are jet black & devoid of texture - the teeth on the Chainsword, the vent in the centre of the armor breastplate, the crotch armor & some banding on the bolt pistol.

That is really curious. Does this happen at all LoDs? Zoom in and out and watch closely, or change your settings in teh graphics menu.

Yes it is a little odd.
It doesn't seem to matter with regard to the level of zoom. As far out as you go and can still make out their faces, they're black.
I'll see what happens with the LoD. I can only go backwards though, as all setting are max bar shadow which is Medium.

I thought perhaps when they (Relic) fixed the "incorrect texture on the Raptor Aspiring Champion Power Fist" (final line in 1.10 read me) maybe they broke something else?

But if no one else is seeing the same thing it must be me!

Hmm, strange ... I'll have to have a look to confirm. I'll edit my post when i've looked. What settings are you using by the way? High details?

Yep, bar shadows which are medium.

Just tried adjusting the graphics settings back down a couple of notches on both Model Detail & Texture Detail. Made no difference.

I thought it was a bug, but needed confirmation.

I've just gone and, using the cheats (thanks Relic!), built all of the Chaos units.
The Raptors were the only ones with issues.

Perhaps they've had just a little too much exposure to the warp?

I thought mine were okay, but it turns out I was fooled by my black highlights... My raptors/champ are missing faces as well. Most...curious.
