Ok people I would like to give everyone a heads up.
This is a continuation of a previous post of mine (which I will quote below) but since the problem has grown so much bigger since then I decided to open a new thread (actually just because moe told me to =P) and post the problem, the problem it led to and my workaround.
As the title says, all objects in game turned white (everything exept the terrain)
All are just blank white models, changing race, skin or anything doesn't work.
Even in the army painter it shows a blank model and I can't change it by selecting diffirent colors.
It isn't crashing my game either, the skins are just gone...
The only thing regarding skins which did stay normal is the units which are shown at the main menu (it reflects the last race and last skin you used) that one is normal as always and switches normaly whenever I start a game with a diffirent race/skin selection.
I've ran both the beta, demo and store version without a single problem. (up untill now)
Also I have changed no hardware, drivers, game settings, windows settings or basicly anything important eversince I last played.
The game is updated. (I logged onto gamespy a few minutes ago and it checking for updates without downloading anything)
Ok this was the initial problem.
Moe (which was helping me) told me to send him the warnings.log, this is how I found out that my warnings.log file was unopenable, uneditable, unmovable and even undeletable!
This caused my game to gives errors while uninstalling!
So I had to work around the problem so I could reinstall the game and play again.
This is how I did it: (don't call me mister obvious for this, I'm writing it for the less talented among us, not for the ego tripping computernerds)
Well I just fixed my problem in the alternative way.
I moved all files (exept the unmovable warnings.log) into another folder to trick windows into thinking it's no longer there.
That way I could remove it from the software menu.
After that I deleted all the files (yet again without warnings.log) and renamed the folder where warnings.log is in.
I reinstalled and autopatched DoW and it's working a ok now (though I still got warnings.log on my comp which I wont be getting rid of anytime soon.)
Right now I can play again I'm just stuck with the undeletable file but it isn't causing any problems.
