I have a radeon 9600 and I know it can push much better graphics then im getting, I get the same graphics on high setting as I do on low... which is rather frustrating to say the least... I know this isnt common for my video card cause the drivers are completely updated and I can run Starwars Galaxies in max everything and it looks perfect...
Is there a problem with some configs that the game isnt changing? Help would be greatly appreciated as I'd love to play the game in high mode... also.. I've noticed that the SS' are better graphically then my actual game.. any clue to this?
everything on my end has been secured I recently did a full system check completed everything needed and my computer was working above optimal so this would be great to get sloved
(didnt find anything like this topic when I searched tho..)
What do you mean you get the same graphics... it looks exactly the same? Can you post a screenshot with everything on low and then one, preferably of the same scene, with all settings on high?

this is the high model graphics one...

and this is low model graphics one

I tried to get the same position but I have no clue why these come out like this... the faces appear all distorted and fuzzy but this is noteably different when using space marines instead of scouts or other units (non hero) that have their helms off...

thats strange, I have a 9600 XT set at 768x1024 and graphics set to high is way better (a tad bit choppy for my taste though) than that first SS, but I'm not sure wat could be the problem though.
I guess you can try fullres_teamcolour=1

open up your DoW directory and open local.ini
then copy
fullres_teamcolour=1
and paste it into the list

yeah, i just played the game with everything on max and i noticed that your first couple of SS is how the scouts are usually rendered. They're good not great.
