Squads losing their control group # assignment

Just like to mention that the bug where squads lose their control group hotkey assingments is still around, it seems to happen to badly mauled squads. This leads me to think that the hotkey is not assigned to reinforced members of that squad, so what might be happening is all the old members of the squad thatw ere assigned to the control group are killed leaving the unassigned reinforced members.

Maybe it's what's happening, but I actually don't know how control groups are really assigned though.

I'd bet dimes to dollars that it is also directly related to the Ork's Horde bug. It sounds like exactly the same kind of bookkeeping error.
