Hi! My first post and first map. :)

I was trying to do a cool map with snowy theme and bases where teammates could actually build and defense same base. All comments and critique are welcome. :)

Frozen Plains (2 vs 2, fixed start locations, resource sharing)

Loaded and ran properly.
Funky co-op map in with a winter theme. Large base area leads to terrain area with lots of positve and negative cover. Well thought-out map - fast and fun.
Good job.

Yep, good idea (snow), excellent light and layout! I found a really small glitch, though: You can walk through one of the barbwires on the stairs. Nothing dramatic, but there it is :)

Keep up the good work!

Thank you for your comments! :)

Aralez: It's not a bug and you should be able to walk throught them (note that there is negative cover while your walking throught).

Stormi, that's a great looking map. I've been waiting for someone to work on more winter maps and this looks great. I played a quick game against the computer using it last night so that I could walk around on it a bit. Overall, cool layout and concept.

One small "flaw" that I noticed was that each base has only one relic in it. For me, this meant that my computer ally capped it first and thus I was never able to get obliterators or the BT. In human team play, this will mean that the players have to decide which of them will get the big goodness if the games goes that far. I might suggest a modification to add a second relic to each base area.

Aside from that little point, this was a great map. Thanks for sharing.

Just had the oppurtunity to play it, and its great :D I never really considered it before, but when playing against insane ai its really fun on this map to battle forward and backwards. There's very little room for manouvures so its just all out war from the start really :D I found sniper scouts extremely useful here. Its really fun because as soon as you get halfway across the map you run out of cover and get beaten back again. Keep up the good work

Fun map and very well done.
I look forward to more maps from you.

You should enter a map in the Dawn of War planet map contest.

Bill_Brooks: It's only for US Residents. :(

That is a bummer I will try and make it for everyone.
I think it is may be the cost to ship the prize overseas as to why its for US residents only. I talked to devilshone and he is willing to have it open to all if the winner pays for the shipping to there country.

Thank you again. :)

I did some playtesting online and noted that this map is all about who gets control of those two center hills. Not exactly what I was planning and it makes the games pretty short nevertheless fun. :)

Aralez: I'm planning on doing a big 8 player map with this style (not sure about is it going to be with snow or desert theme). It will take some time because I have other projects going on and the sheer size of the map.
