DOW will not install.

So I have tried to install the game about six different times. It will get to the "Publishing product information" line on the third disc then drop to the desktop. It will create the THQ/Dawn of War directory structure, but once it drops to the desktop the only thing left is an empty THQ directiory. All the previous directories created are gone.

I am using Win XP Pro with SP2, and I've installed that update to the installer. Any other ideas?

EDIT: So I tried copying all the files to the HD and installing from there. Still no luck.

I've had the exact same problem as you (also created a thread about it on the same page as this one if you cared to look).

I failed to find any solution, and only got a very common feedback for a solution (so incase you missed it) http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=36dd19df-bc5e-44b7-a339-6794d97994a2&DisplayLang=en

If you've tried that, you might be in the exact same position as me, I had to uninstall SP2.
