black streaks on screen with xfx nvidia 6800.

o.k i've been playing dawn of war for a couple of hours and have noticed black streaks on the screen flash on and off a couple of times.

Does this sound like a problem with the game or a graphics card problem?

Anybody else had a problem with this game?

I haven't patched it yet so i might try that later,

I just got and installed that card. ASUS variant NVidia 6800GT 128mb

I get the stripes once in a while. I've got all the game graphic settings on maximum. The resolution is also set pretty high 1280x ???

I've seen the stripes only a few times and it's always in the same place....

Above the Artifact (building for the Librarian etc. SM) on the moving top doors. But strangely only when they're open. As they open they cast a shadow that is not being shown properly by the graphic card. I've no data on other races.

For me it must be a problem with the graphic card because my previous card (ATI 9600 pro) never showed any problems although I had it in the game graphic options quite a bit scaled down. If I scaled down my NVidia 6800 GT it might have an effect, I'll edit this post later...
