game keeps minimizing to task bar...

hi!
i've got a strange problem...
after playing some minutes, the game minimizes to the task bar and i find myself on my windows desktop. it's possible to continue playing, but it minimizes every 5 minutes - thats kinda annoying.

i've applied the 1.10 patch.

can anybody help me? thanx!

OK, is there any pop-up window? Do you have any applications running in the background that may steal focus, such as an instant messenger? Do you use the shift key at all during play?

there's no pop up, theres just no damn reason - just my blank desktop with DoW minimized at my task bar...

i always close my miranda IM before playing,
kaspersky antivirus auto protect is running, but i cant imagine this effects the game somehow...

i use windows xp pro, on an amd 2400+, MSI GF4 4200 64 MB, mobo: abit nf7, 768 mb ddr memory.

Has this problem occurred before applying patch 1.10?

Also, just try turning off the antivirus, knowing windows, anything might cause the minimizing problem.

And just a long shot, try using another keyboard. Most of the times it could be a simple problem like that, but we never guess it's a keyboard/mouse issue (I had a tough time with a different game once till i figured one of my keys was bust).

Try turning off every app that autostarts, and see if it still happens. If it doesn'T, enable them one by one to find the culprit.
