Spooge error

I receive a spooge error when loading the game, then the graphics settings appears, with nothing in the window.

I think this may be because of my graphics card.

I have an Advent laptop, and getting a new graphics card is not really an option. Its a SiS card, not sure of the model.

Is there anyway at all that I can play without getting a new card?
