I have the same problem; only happens in DoW too

Heres what it looks like, taken from my digital cam:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v37/Zubyo/Picture001.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v37/Zubyo/Picture002.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v37/Zubyo/Picture003.jpg

Heres some points:

- The 'Graphics Option Tool' test works without problem;
- Tried the "safe mode" in the 'Graphics Option Tool', no luck
- Got the lastest nVidia Forceware 66.93
- All my other games (more than 50 others) works great, never had this flickering problem
- Im patched 1.20
- I can hear the sound when im in the menu
- Since I cant see a thing in the menu, I use "Alt-f4" to safely quit the game

Heres my warnings.log

Uhmm...this is a rendering error that you can get when you mix up old cards, new drivers and games. Me and one of my friends got a similar problem with HomeWorld and HW:Cataclysm with a Radeon 9600/9700, any catalyst version (the main menu flickers where there isn't the mouse cursor). Also, I experienced troubles with new drivers and old GeForce cards (the GF4MX is nothing more than am overclocked GF2MX) in various applications...you might want to try old drivers (maybe in the Detonator series) if the problem continues.

I had this problem too after updating my Gforce 5500 to the latest 66.93 reference drivers. I found that the only way I could resolve the problem was to revert back to the 61.77 drivers. I did that and now everything is fine.
