I'm having troubles with my dvd-burner. As I put the cd in, and start the game it loads some time and says couldn't find cd, cannot open it or the cd is a copy please insert the original. And I have the original cd in drive, I assure you it really IS the original. Anyone else had this problem, and can it be fixed (hope yes).

Make sure disc is clean, make sure the drive runs other CDs.

what brand and model is your dvd drive? Do you have any other drives/other computers to test the disc on?

There is a very likely chance that securerom doesn't like your dvd drive, in which case the only remedy is either switch to another cd drive or try and see if there is any firmware updates for it available that could possibly address the either

It's PHILIPS. And yes, the cd works on other drives. Cd is completely clean.

Probably some clever coding on Relic's behalf as a precaution to avoid piracy, believe it or not, they're making advances, slowly but surely.

Not implying you're committing computer piracy, but it probably recognizes the Driver for what it is, a CD-Burner and probably voids all of it's program into lock down until in the actual D Drive.

But then again this is all Hypothetical and I have no information to support this, just my theory.

That is your friend securom acting up. See if it runs in other drives, and try contacting securom for technical assistance.
