I am currently having some problems running network games of Dawn of War.
I run an internet cafe and regularly have a large number of people wanting to play Dawn of War on LAN. This has never, ever been a problem untill the new patch was released; what is happening is extremely odd;
Someone sets up a server, then each client attempts to connect, and every time one of those clients will not be able to connect, and the person affected is seemingly random. It also seems that if you connect in a certain order, then it'll work, but I have not yet determined what that order is (I have tried doing it in order of IP address). This issue does not seem to occur over the Internet and is only a LAN issue as far as I can tell. All the machines being used have seperate CD keys. All the machines use identical hardware and are not connecting to each other through any form of NAT or Firewall hardware.
This problem has only arisen since the release of the new patch, and because of this I am looking at rolling back to the previous patch, however I would rather keep my machines up to date to allow Internet play if neccesary.
Any help on this matter would be very much appreciated.
