joining multiplayer

hi
i have a problem when joining a multiplayer game, i'm able to join into a game but as soon as it finish's set up i get kicked from the game. Something about game data not matching?

i've downloaded all the patch's from the dow site

i run norten security and have allways kept this upto date as the live update is check every morning as well as windows xp live update
