Evenings...or mornings, well you get the freaking point.

It's nice to actually post something in this forums, which in the past week or so have provided for some entertainment....however it's not so nice because I'm actually not contributing with anything but only asking for a bit of help. You see...I'm very fond of this replays things to steal...ehem, sorry...learn the best tricks and tips from the most geeky....ehem, sorry...from the pro players here. But I have the international version of Dawn of war you see....and while everyone is bitty happy with patch 1.2 I can't seem to find an international version of said patch.....ergo, I can't watch the nifty files

The thing is.....is it there an 1.2 int ver patch for the game. If not, does anyone knows if one is in the making?...u_u

Thanks for everything

Edit: Ack Ack...sorry sorry...I posted in the wrong forums...as I don't know how to delete this...I'll just hope that some patient mod moves it. Sorry again.

Not a problem, moving to Technical Assistance.

If you just log onto gamespy, your game will be patched with the correct version.

Thanks for the rapid answer, but...

You see, I have no internet connection where I play the game, I can log in here and download things in other computer, last time I downloaded the patch (1.10 international version) and burned a cd with it. I was wondering if there was a site I could download the patch and install it later...if some one could help I'd greatly appreciate it. And Moe, sorry about all the hassle of having to move the message...I'll be more careful next time.

just get it from here (http://www.fileplanet.com/files/140000/148642.shtml). I believe that its just one file that works on both english and international versions.

I got my hopes up for a minute there...

Actually, it doesn't work...As I've told you before, the only thing that seems to work here are the international patches, and it seems there isn't one for the last version (vesrion 1.20), so all of us can't be on par with the US release (and by the way, although my knowledge with the subject ammounts to zero, how hard can it be to make the patch for the two versions of the game at the same time...?_?). Anyways, thanks all of you for the help, but it seems the problem isn't solved yet.

Well, what does it tell you when you try to patch, what kind of error message are you getting?

Yes, yes I'll get to that...

Sorry about that, forgot to type the important part....well, I think it was similar to the message I got when I tried to install the incorrect 1.10 version (which is what I have now by the way), it says something about not finding the game installed in my computer....which is obviously a mistake...I think ?_?. So as I was saying, it says it can't find the bloody game....I'd think I messed up with something, but as all the international patches worked before...

Re-install the game.

Then Download and Install each patch in sequence. The latest patch does not install the previous patches.

If one of the patches screws up, re-install from scratch and repatch.

Well, it was actually easier...

.: |You see, reknown for being some kind of a blunder, I forgot that I had a No-CD patch to play the game without hassle (and without damaging the original cd's =P). Sorry everyone for the problems, the 1.2 patch installed correctly and I'm seeing the replays as we speak. Thank you everyone for all the help.|:.

Edit: Why are my messages being edited? Did I miss some forum rules or something?
