Game Speed ?

I am new at this game, what game-speed do you guys usually use on multiplayer ?

What difference does gamespeed make? I dont think I've ever played anything other than standard

In other games the speed makes everything simply happen faster. People move faster, things build faster, get resources faster. It sound s good but it can be liking watching a movie on fast forward not that great. You might like it higher but don't set it to high. Some games at the higher setting you need to be on crystal meth to play.

I asked the same question a while back and got few replies.

I like things slow, as slow as possible and no quickstart, maybe high resources or a map for twice as many players as there are, but then with low resources.
I used to pause like mad with the campaign in insane dif.

When I play with my friends, we always play on Fast speed. Why? Just because it's faster :P hahah. Also, practicing on Fast speed will do wonders for your micro, and when you join a ladder game afterwards on Standard, your dancing and such will be fantastic...

When I play with my friends we always play on slow. Why ? Because its more fun watching the battles in detail and gives better control.

BTw with the -dev command is there a way to change the campaign speed with console?
