I bought Dawn Of War from Bargain Depot on Ebay. I recieved the game.. but the box for the CD Key was blank. Any Recourse/Solutions other than discontinuing payment on the credit card?
I realize this is listed as "Return to vendor" issue. Just curious if there were any other options, as the vendor in this case would require substantial shipping.

if you had bought the game via a conventional retailer then you would just have to return the game to them (explaining why) and they would give you a replacement...in this case though its an issue for ebay to deal with - try to contact the seller first but failing that go through whatever systems ebay has for dealing with faulty/etc goods (I dont use the site myself so I dont know exactly what you would have to do).

Do not buy software over ebay.

Yeah. I checked.
Paying with a credit card alleviates a lot of the risk. If they try to screw you over: Stop Payment.
It depends on which card you use, but Discover is pretty good about siding with the buyer. And this is a pretty clear-cut case of unusable goods. I'm suggesting to them that if they have any copies with missing/broken CD's, they can give me the Key from them, otherwise, bye-bye ebay price AND shipping.

Take it to your local better business bureau if they won't refund your money.
