I have installed the game and all seems to be fine until I try to play it. It comes up with an error message saying that not enough physical memory. Needs 256MB of RAM, now I have 256MB of DDR, which have reliably been told is more than enough. Any one got any answers for me?Thanks

Post your warnings.log file and dxdiag.txt.

having 256 mb of RAM isnt "easily" meeting the requirements...its the bare minimum needed to run. Its likely that your graphics card is sharing your RAM and so you effectively have less than 256 mb of RAM. You will need to buy another stick of RAM...when youve done that you should notice an improvement to your computers performance at doing all tasks as well as allowing you to play games.

Might wanna re-check with that "reliable" source. 256 MB is the absolute minimum you need for Dawn of War, and newer games will require at least the same amount, if not more.
We'll have to take a look at those log files, but as TBS indicated you may need to purchase additional memory.

Cheers will just go out and buy an extra stick, maybe not a "reliable" source. Any recommendations, money no problem. And also whats the difference between DDR and normal Ram. Sorry total novice at this.

DDR is faster basically. Go buy another stick of it, RAM is cheap anyway so if money isnt an issue you might want to go up to 1 Gb of it.

It would reallyl help if you would post a dxdiag.
