v1.1 patch problem (no error message though)

the patch downloads via DoW fine, but then when it comes to actually patching, it gets almost to the end, then freezes. No error message appears, but after a while it reads "not responding". It can't be HD space problems, the drive it's on has 74GB free (of 80GB). It's really annoying me, since one of the main reasons I bought DoW is for the Multiplayer...

Any suggestions?

Did you wait for a very long time when it "froze"? It took a long time to install this one file for me, which was near the end or the patching.

"Not Responding" Doesn't neccesarily mean that the program has crashed. Be patient, and wait for it to finish. If you've end-tasked the program, uninstall, and re-install from scratch.

It may take upwards of 30 minutes for it to patch.
