Okay i used the NO-CD crak thingy and played a bit, NO PROBLEMS. a few days later i instaled C&C Generals & Zero:hour (BTW it sucks more than i remember, proly cuz i got DOW to compair it to) AND THAT NIGHT i play DOW and it has triangles of it all over the screan flickering on and off... the top of the screan is going nuts! Any-who i was insane enough to make a Coppy of DOW to use the NO-CD crack on, and it dose the same thing on the NO NO-CD crack version that i started off with.

I'll put in a good word with the chaos gods for who ever helps me with this. :werd:

Any way...

Wow, what a great thing to advertise...you used a CD crack to invalidate part of the copyright protection.

Well... we frown upon no-cd cracks, they are illegal, but we don't ban for them (yet).

This doesn't sound like a problem specifically with Dawn of War, more like that your video card is going tits up.

Try updating your video card drivers, see if that helps.

Same exact problem happens to me every so often. (Though without the No CD's) just download the lastest drivers or most recent ones agin and reinstall them. Seems to fix the problem for me. Eveyertime, and yes it has happened before and relic has gotten an email with screen shots and such.

It happens on some of our computers occasionally -- but only when I've opened the program up after closing it earlier. It seems like I can play DoW all I want, but if I close DoW I have to restart the computer in order to start DoW back up again. Restarting has been the only solution that I've found so far.

NO-CD cracks aren't illegal, it's a grey issue. Even if 'some' game companies make you sign some stuff, they don't always superceed certain consumer rights. Damn capitalists, think outside the box!
Anyway the poster didn't even point to a no-cd crack site or whatever. Not that it's hard to find.

Well i'm not doing anything illegal with it, i'm just tierd of runing across the yard to play lan games. and dont have the money to buy another CD. if its REALY illegal i'll take it off Quick.

I can use the exercise.
