1.3 Keyboard not responding

Since installing 1.3, sometimes when a round starts the keyboard won't respond at all (I don't have any custom hotkeys). not even the menu key (f10) or chat key (enter) will work.

Alt tabbing out of the game seems to fix it, but i'm wondering if anyone knows a way to stop if from happening.

It doesn't happen every game either, about 1 in 3 games it happens.

try doing a clean reinstall, a couple of people mentioned that this happened immediately after installing the patch and reinstalling fixed it.

C. Alt-Tab to switch applications

Some drivers do not support the Alt-Tab switching between Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War and other applications. It is highly recommended that you do not use Alt-Tab to switch to another program while Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War is running. If you wish to switch programs, first close Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War.

CrimsonFury...you say upon map load the keyboard is unresponsive, yet you're able to Alt+Tab out of the game? So, some of the keys still work then...

i think he is talking (like me) about DoW keys shortcuts (but not sure, beter wait his answer)
alt tab is not a DoW key shortcut


i didnt change any drivers
with 1.2 alt+tab did works really fine
dont know why it should not work anymore with 1.3
