The default map scroll keys are the cursor keys, which are in an awkward place for me.
Can I remap them to a more traditional WASD arrangement?
If so, can somebody tell me how to (hopefully a copy and paste of the contents of their file)?
I may be a bit presumptuous here, as I've still got to get home and try to finish geting 1.3 to install.

i've been trying to figure out how to do this since the game's release day. it seems you can configure every stinking hotkey except the ones that are used the most. i was hoping they'd added the camera movement entries to the key config file in 1.3, evidently not.

I have to do a weird thing everytime I play dow because of this: I have 2 small windows registry entry files "Dowkeys" and "Normalkeys"; When I want to play DOW, I run "Dowkeys" and log out of windows and back. Voila! My arrow keys are remapped to WSAD and vice versa. Of course chatting is painful with this configuration...

So I take it, that it can't be done?
What was all this talk about a 'key binding' file in the v1.3 patch?
I thought it was going to let you remap the keys?

I don't want to sound ungreatful for the replies so far, but...
Can I please have a simple answer as to whether or not in can be done?
So far...
no-code has implied it can't be done.
Raimo has hinted it can be done.
Uberjumper has posted a URL.
and for myself, well I'm just confused now.
Man this is hardwork.

It cannot be done with the ingame key configuration files. What I do is I edit the win registry, log out and log back. Reverse after play session... But this means that WHATEVER I type, WSAD will have exchanged places with the arrow keys, which of course is pretty painful for chatting...
My "Dowkeys.reg" file:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layout]
"Scancode Map"=hex:00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,09,00,00,00,1f,00,50,e0,1e,00,4b,e0,\
20,00,4d,e0,11,00,48,e0,4b,e0,1e,00,4d,e0,20,00,50,e0,1f,00,48,e0,11,00,00,\
00,00,00
My "Normalkeys.reg" file:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layout]
"Scancode Map"=-
And TRY THESE AT YOUR OWN RISK! They work on my win XP for me though...
