Does not fix the Direct Connection issues, it doesn't even attempt to resolve the NAT issues.

It does not fix the computer fixed positions in the least. Ever since 1.01 which was supposedly only a language patch the computer will not be placed where you set it. Instead it will occupy the next available slot. These worked before 1.01 have been broken ever since.

The Direct Connect issue however is the biggest let down, people have complained about it over and over and it appears to have been completely ignored. If you wanted us to use only Gamespy why even have the Direct Connection choice there??

There has been a lot of good things done in 1.3 but the key playability issues remain unresolved and makes both myself and my friends quite disappointed.

Direct connection IS the nat issue.

Your second issue has been there since day one, and is, everyone can agree, a pain in the ass.

Actually if you uninstall and install the straight 1.00 version without adding the 1.01 international patch you'll find you have no issue at all placing the computers.

Secondly, the NAT/Direct connect issue, I meant to emphasize both because I've seen issues listed as NAT issues that didn't concern the inability to connect to direct IP games. So I wanted to be as clear as possible. My apologies if it doesn't come across that way.

At any rate, I should perhaps post these in the 1.3 bug thread, but they've been around since 1.01....

Dymo, I'm not certain, I've not really messed with Gamespy much. Direct connect works, that's all I can really attest too. But at this point, its quite a different game between 1.00 and 1.3.

OK let me get this straight. Placing computers worked in 1.0?!
That's hillarious!
No wait, actually it's kind of sad... :-(

Any explanation on this by the devs?
