Is there any manual DLs for 1.3? I've looked through the forum and googled it and find nothing. On 56k with an unstable connection trying to use gamespy is nuts so could do with a link to a manual DL is there is one.

Behold! The official, sticky Patch announcement tread (http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=62417) in all it's glory. :p

Why don't people read those stickies? Too far up?

Go here and download the ABC client: http://pingpong-abc.sourceforge.net/

Go here and download the 1.3 torrent file: http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=62417

Open the torrent with the ABC client, and bobs yer uncle. It'll come in a lot faster than you think, and you can also pause and resume. I hadn't bothered with torrents prior to this and it made a big difference to me, and I have broadband. I'm sure it'll help your connection get the files in a timely fashion.

I've found the new version of the Azureus BitTorrent Client (http://azureus.sourceforge.net/) to be a lot faster than ABC. However ABC would be better if you are behind a router.

And don't forget to seed!

Mikari, you can just use your browser too... if you notice when you join game spy, it says "do you want to download patch xxx" where is xxx is the webaddress of the patch... I used to get faster times with a browser... but for the last patch I used bit torrant as mentioned above...

Ask the member "Phate" what he thinks about Azureus and its "wonderful" port forwarding abilities. ;)

Personally I havent had a problem, I'm behind a router myself, but ABC is more of a "no-brainer" client.
