ok every time i play it will be either 2 minutes or 2 hours and for some reason out of no where my monitor will go into standby and it won't let me out of it. so i have to restart my computer and then just go back to playing it again. and doing it over and over again. please help me. i have put in the two files dxdiag.txt and my errorlog.txt that comes up also sometimes saying do you want to send or not. i usually just click don't send and it closes the game. some one please help me.

could you also provide a warnings.log

is your monitor particularly old? Does it work perfectly in other games? Try lowering the resolution.

ok, I only asked because it seems odd that your monitor is failing.

by "all my games" do you mean every time you play a game of DoW or in all games, not just DoW?

If its the latter then its likely that your monitor or graphics card is faulty...Id say probably the monitor - if it was the graphics card Id expect your PC to lockup or reboot.

that may sound very true. as i think of it i think i like my old monitor a little better even though it was smaller. never happened to me then. makes me think. maybe your right. THanks Very much for that info. but if someone else can tell me something feel free i am up for any thing.

When the monitor goes black, can you still hear sounds in the background?

What resolution are you playing in game? If you play at the lowest resolution (800x600) with all the graphical options (especially shadows) turned off, how does it work?

This sounds like your graphics card is going out of range, or is overheating.

Have you turned off the VPU recover setting for your ATI card?
