Installed patch 1.1 then 1.2
then installed unified conflict mod
could not install patch 1.3
uninstalled game and then deleted directory.
reinstalled game from scratch ented cd code again (legal copy of game that worked fine before uninstall)
now the same patch file that I used to patch to 1.1,,, I kept it archived, will not recognize my game to patch it... so off hand tried the 1.2 and 1.3 patches as well no luck... redown loaded the 1.1 patch from avault no luck same result.
I think its snot to not make that last patch include all previous patches anyway but thats just me.. wtf
But back to the point I cant patch my game up to 1.1 now.
What do they expect me to do now? .... not to mention it takes 30 min to install this game. Its about the slowest install I have seen... good thing its a great game. But the technical issues are becoming annoying.
If i can't patch it there is no reason to expect the expansion to recognize my game if the patches won't so I will not be buying the expansion until they resolve this crap to my satisfaction. As you can tell I'm pissed.... I have 200 other games and most are not this technically annoying in thier patch process. Most aren't still on my hard drives either :)
