Demo modding

I've been trying to add the Vaygr as a playable race in the demo, but haven't been getting any luck. Can someone help me?

Havent looked to much at the demo bar decompiling the scripts for the differances in retail and demo. I dont even know if the demos modable to be fair as it has all the bugs from pre patch ie controll exploit etc. Yould be best to ask ubber or one of the relic guys if the demo is modable

Hmm, ya know conceptually, modding the demo could be a fun way for a modder to show off his/her latest toys.

However, I am with Sheridan and Inert on this... buy the game.

well had a look at it and the overide command dosnt seem to work :/ so your gona have to buy the game regardless :P and its worth it to be fair especially with all the mods being worked on at the moment :). I seen it here For under a Tenner ( £10.00) so for that price buy 2 :P

i got the game for a tenner and i feel i've bought a 30quid game after playing through the single player missions. and now, with vsCPU and modding community, i feel it's better than HL2 (because most mods for HL2 isn't out yet)

wot!?! have you bought the retail, non-second-hand verson or a second hand / ebay verson?
when i bought it, it's in Games for 10quid and in Gamestation for £6 for a seocnd hand verson
