I have been converting the ships from Hw1 AND hw:c for hw2. Anyhow I was reading how theres a lack of new ships for hw2 and decided to make my stuff open source. By the way I have a lLot more but havent textured them just yet

You should realy talk to the Requiem War Mod team.
They are doing (almost) the same thing.

Yeah I seen there stuff and it looks good but my origional intenchion was to convert the ships from cata then it morphed into them all lol if those guys want the ships its all theres but I think they have done the ships from scratch anyhow. Making them into hod i easy, texturing them i time conuming and it taken me 2 day to texture one corvette

You know snake, I'm pretty good at uvw unwrapping models especially if their skins are already made. You could have just asked me to help you some. And snake, I couldn't get maya from where you said.

If you can get some Taiidani ships done I'd be interested in having them as playable ships...
And how easy is it to draw the UI icons?

what ships do you need?. The Tai are as r2 in the hod dir.
Only tier one on there as I havent finished texturing tier 2 yet. But its all there with the exception of badge placement ( the badges are there, just I havent made my mind up if i will keep them at there current places on the ships

There's a mod in progress. Requiem War (http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=36932&page=1&pp=15) thats already been doing a Hw1 to Hw2 conversion, so it would be cool to concentrate on the Hw:C ships.
Seeing the good old ArchAngel back in action would be a blast :lol:

funny you should say that as i have all the tier one and 2 from cata ready, just finetunning the textures. As for rw I didnt mean to tread on there toes and hell if they think any of my ships are good enough they can have them ;) Thing is that i started this 2 moths ago for myself and as time went on more and more became interested thats why i never posted a mod in progress thread as the whole idea was to et cata in there and release it open source so any modders could tweek the ships, then people asked for somke hw1 ships and it all went nuts lol

I meant something that you could use in-game directly. I had assumed you posted materials for modding...
Anyway, eventually if I could somehow master a 3-D program I would have liked to retrofit the Destroyer with additional weapons and somehow sneak it into the PDS universe. And although I could ask the RW team if they're willing to let me use their Destroyer unit, the fact that they're waiting for both fleets to be completed before even making release v1 doesn't give me much confidence that they'd let me use it.

tell me which dd and what weapons and where on the ship and ill work on it now. will take a few days to complete though

I'd have to illustrate to point everything out. If you've ever been to PDS and read "Kings', I was hoping to do the Taiidan destroyer described there.

I tried the tai interceptor and it has 1 bug... Its lateral rail gun doesn't shoot. That rail gun is what makes it what it is so try fixing that.

Thats strange ill look at it again, it was working for me.. I may have made a hod from a previous version by mistake but no matter ill look at her now

To prevent confusion, it was the 'heavy' interceptor and not that scout.

your right, was an oversight on my part as I forgot about the weapon placement for that ship. Rather i was going to add another weapon so i left it. Ill fix her tomight

...actually, I guess I misinterpreted what you were saying SC...
I'd like to have the Taiidan standard destroyer. It should have a pair of dual-turret mass drivers and a pair of Ion cannons. If Tel doesn't mind, I'd like to see my destroyer in PDS to suppliment the QJE. I meant I'd like to make the extra weapons and things myself, but I'm fine if someone else offers to do it :D

Well theres the standard desty, Its fully textured just havent added the weapons bar the 2 front guns its in the hod dir if you want it in the meantime
