Watching replays

Whe I open the file with real one player it says needs too download updates to play file extension, Then when IT does it says cannot find anything to play file. Need help

That's because you open replays with dawn of war. Select "load game", then select the "load replay" button.

Yes, Moe is on the money but just a little clarification:

Load DOW up then select SKIRMISH > LOAD GAME > RECORDED and choose the replay you want to watch from the list then select LOAD.
