RDN Mod Tools fail to install

I've posted this in the RDN tools forum but someone suggested I also post it here since it is a technical error. When I try to install the tools, I get to the point where the "Next" button changes to "Install" but when I click that it displays this:

"The drive or UNC share you have selected does not exist or is not accessible."

There was no point during the install process where I actually had the option of choosing where the tools were installed to, so I don't quite get what's going on. Any help would be appreciated.

tried installing in safe mode?

Did you move your DoW directory since you installed it?
Can you check your registry and see if the path there matches the installation path for DoW please? Instructions on how to do that can be found here:

No luck in safe mode, and the registry has it right.

Is there any other place in the registry where the information could be wrong?
