Hey I noticed something when I zoom in with the 3D camera, the textures on my space marines dont look as good as they do in the army painter or the main menu when I am in game.

I have textures on high, well everything on high (even ground textures) but yeah when I zoom right up into their face it doesn't look nearly as good as it does in the army painter or main menu.

to get the best ingame textures add the line "fullres_teamcolour=1" to your local.ini file.

Even then it still doesn't look as good as in the main menu. That model has a much more detailed gun and much better looking strips on its stomach armor.

That's because it is a different, far more detailed model. You'll never achieve the detail from the menu ingame for that reason, not even with highpoly.

Inded, if they had used the model from the main menu ingame (a model designed to look good occupying half your screen) as the ingame model (which needs to look good occupying a very small portion of your screen) then even top end systems would struggle. Most people are satisfied with the fullres_teamcolour textures, however.
