If you have read the Fiction Forum Rules from the Second and Third Relic Boards, you know that there is a whole bunch of old UBB Relic Board posts at the Relic Boards Archive (www.strategyplanet.com/homeworld/rbarchive).
Fortunately, ever since the Second Relic Boards (the first WWW Threads boards), I have been paranoid about losing threads. Therefore, after the boards were down for a few days, I went through my cache and salvaged the following threads, combining them with a few important threads I've been saving. Here is the list of threads I salvaged in some form or another:

Adeptus Arbites Enforcers of Imperial Law
AND THE WINNER IS... (The Fiction forum awards)
Coronation of the Unread
Fiction Community Center - Page 1
Fiction The Silence of the Rift CotV2
Holo-Threats (redone with 100% new material)
Naggarok's Children (obviously, after the last time, when I went insane after losing a thread ;) )
Order of the Beast
Project 3 - DDS - Page 2
Ravens by Starlight - Pages 1 and 2
Short Story Competition - Page 2
Star Trek Athena: Phantoms - Page 2
STOP MAKING BOARD WARS!
The Azeroth Exodus.
Tollgates to the Stars - Page 4
Warcraft Three - The Resurrection
WAssup my homies! (Being one of the first threads on the Second Relic Boards)
You guys want more eh?

I have sent these threads to Noname_MIB to be uploaded. Upon putting up the Fiction rules (which I also saved; no escaping them! ;) ), these threads will be linked, like all of the others.

If you have any threads archived for whatever reason you want to send me, just email me at WStar345@aol.com.

Of course, no one ever responds to such pleas. That is why I proclaimed myself Unofficial Fiction Forum Archivist in the first place...:)

Always willing to contribute. :)

Don Armageddon is planning to hold another set of Fiction Awards this month or so; it's supposed to be something of a biannual event (or is it semiannual?) - about once every 6 months.

Long live the RB fiction forum, may it do better than HWU's fiction forum. :D And TR we should all thank you for your parnoia and backing up. Now off to look for unread fiction.

Ah, at last!

My thanks to TR, naturally, and to whatever divine force is responsible for the ressurection (Er, more like reincarnation...) of the boards.

Thank you, all. And sorry to those whose threads I did not save; I had to use GoBack, a utility that can revert files - but it seems to be set to have a range of only 7 days; so I couldn't save threads I hadn't read in 7 days or already had on the hard drive (which is why "Crazy Research" and Xellos' Cataclysm FIPL thread is not on the list, nor any but the last page of many of the threads)
I wondered if any of you would ever notice the Archive.

And TR we should all thank you for your parnoia and backing up
Just something to ponder...

Well, as I said on the NC thread on the Third Relic Boards, I put it off because the rough draft of the Evil-State-Mandated-Senior-Project due on September 14th.
And indeed I finished it. 67 pages, about 30,000 words, and the best Senior Projects my advisor has ever seen...
Which means I can turn my full attention to college applications!
Seriously, I haven't quite started chapter 7 yet (besides the top quote), but it might be done in a few days or so. Don't hold your breath...on the other hand, when I'm done with 7, 8 will follow soon afterwards.

I forgot about one thread when sending Noname the ones on the hard drive - a Fleet Intelligence Personal Logs thread, page 2...of the original thread! (One year old). That will be an interesting one to see...

TR, I've got all three pages of Ravens backed up, including all posted chapters, so I can send you that if you want. :)

Ah, it's good to be back.

If it's the actual thread (and not just a word processor file of Ravens), then by all means, send it! I had the first two pages (well, the first and part of the second) saved, intending to read it, but if you have all three, it'd be greatly appreciated.

Please note that I will wait a few more days before sending any more threads in, to give Noname a rest. :)

I just got here, boys! :D And yes, TR, there will be another RB Fiction Awards, as the first one was so successful. However, nominations will not begin until around Halloween, which will make it six months after teh original, and allow more fiction to pile up (and, of course, for my own story to be completed :D)

Ahoy, mates! Let's just hope that this fourth, and hopefully final version of the boards remains.

The Glorious Don (Slogan: "Nope, he ain't leavin'.")

I used to have alot of the threads but for some odd reason my hardrive would not allow me to have 10G of internet files on it and still allow Homeworld to exist, as a result I unfortunately had to delete every single one of the files (part was by accident) that would have been the entire Board, , , I am dreadfully sorry that I did because about a week afterwards the boards crashed and we lost it all. I will search my drives for any remaining stories or threads that may still be wandering around in there. . .
If anyone knows a way to undelete files in Win 98 then by all means let me know and I will attempt to find those files!

Note on Insanity:
I too have been called extremely paranoid, and have even been ridiculed because of my excessive saving tendancies. (every five seconds or so).

Hi Don, Ion, TR, Helix, Weavern, Sephir, and CJ. The everlasting Spaz is back.

I have Silence of the Rift Cotv2, part of the Unbound, the a few chapters of the Hirus Plague... not that anyone cares, because they're all word docs. Just wanted to say hi really.

Nice to see someones on the ball TR...nice one.
Guess MajorFreaks archiving habits rub off...

Well, it took them long enough, no? ;)

To be honest, I like the new style of the forum better than the old one. Rather sweet. I wonder if I can steal the code for my own forum when I start up my web comic... *wry grin*

Just an FYI, the latest chapter of Cataclysm FIPL is half done. Between the WTC disaster and other stuff I've not done much writing. Sorry, gang.

It's nice to be back. :)

Wb Xellos.

In any case, lucky me! I have zero pressure to write...which works as both a good and bad thing.
