Where are the graphics files to the game's menu,you know the one that says HOMEWORLD 2 ?

I want to change it for my mod and does anyone know what type of format it it in [ jpeg,Tga]?

yea, its in .rot file. its located in HW2 Directory/UI/newu/background.
