Why does NAV think the dow exe is a worm?

What version and type of Norton software are you using?

When I encounter this problem, I usually go to the FireWall Configurations of my Norton Internet Security 2005 and Remove dow.exe from the list. Then run Dawn of War again. Norton will then prompt you again like as if it is a newly installed program. Just set it to Permit All Connections or something like that and click Okay. Should be okay after that.
