After installing the patch I've noticed some locale problems. It seems the patch has installed the russian locale, but I didn't want it.

Most of the game text is in English, but some phrases are in Russian and I find this disgusting.

I've figured out that the language can be set in the Regions.ini file, which looks like this:
[global]
lang=Russian
[mods]
w40k=RussianI tried to change the values to 'English', but the game didn't launch with these changes (and Graphics Config too). The Graphics Config error message stated that it couldn't load the localized text, so I went to the Dawn of War\W40k\Locale folder and found that there were 4 files in Russian folder (W40k.ucs, W40kDataKeys.sga, W40kDataLoc.sga and W40kData-Sound-Speech.sga) and only one in English (W40kDataKeys.sga).

So I ask anybody for help by sending me a link (http://rapidshare.de) or an email (paulfom@yandex.ru) with W40k.ucs file from your Dawn of War\W40k\Locale\English folder.

Where did you buy your copy of the game?

have you tried doing a clean reinstall and repatch?

1. It is legal copy of Dawn of War by Russobit-M (original English version, not localized).
2. Yes, I tried.

Maybe the patch looks at my default system language and extracts only files needed for Russian locale. I've also noticed that only new 1.4 features have comments, names and texts in Russian.

ahh - Russobit, there were problems with the 1.3 patch for them (it took ages for a working 1.3 patch to be released that worked with that version of the game). Theres not really anything you can do about it...try their forums and see if anyone has figured out a solution.

I had absolutely no troubles with installation of either 1.3 patch or 1.4.

I just need somebody's W40k.ucs from Dawn of War\W40k\Locale\English folder.

It is just about 900 Kbytes.

Unfortunately that violates the EULA and we can't allow you to ask for it here.

Ok, thanks.

The best thing you can do is take this to Russobit's forums so they know theres an issue.
