View Full Version : Bug with annihilate option in 1.4

I seem to be having...odd failures with annihilate option. So far, I've played 3 games with the new 1.4 patch.

The first game was against the eldar, and as I was to understood it should(once all the unit buildings were destroyed, the game ended).

Against chaos in my second game, however, I had to destroy even all the listening posts to end the game by annihilate(game ended when i destroyed the last listening post, everything else was dead).

Against SM...I couldn't end the game with annihilate. I had destroyed every last building and every unit...and still had to win by control area(I controlled every SP and Relic)

I didn't save a replay against chaos, but I do have the replay against SM, though it looks like i'll have to go find a zip program to be able to attach it.

Yeah, I've also experienced this.

I was playing a 2v2 in a friendly clan match, and we were losing. I was ork and my ally was SM. Our opponents (both SM) proceeded to destroy every one of my allies buildings, INCLUDING the LPs. My ally was left with a squad of 8 space marines. Thats it. But he was still alive, and proceeded to be alive as we won the game (I say we, but obviously he only had 1 squad of SM lol).

The only victory condition was annihilate.

It *might* be that they're adding the ability to transfer units between allies. As such, it might be that if you have an ally with a build capable building (or something) that it keeps both of you alive an in game until both of you have no build capable buildings in the game.

Moving this out of bug sub until it's confirmed.
