I am having WA installation problems similar but not exactly the same as others I have observed. (WA from Gamespot in California purchase 9-21).
It get to end of installation then says cannot install a .sga file. I will get exact error message later (I am at work now) and install does not complete. I get a fatal error if I retry .I will post a screen of the error message and the error logs as well when I get home from work.
-I can play the game after install b/c a WA .exe icon does show up in my DoW folder. However there is no music at the Menu when I start the game. Then if I restart my PC the Icon goes away and WA will not execute again. I have un-installed and Re-installed DoW and WA still will not install.

Dow 1.0 to 1.4 has worked 100% of time with higher graphic settings
I have recently updated my Video Drivers (in the last 2 months) and I do not have any emulation software such as Alchohol 120 installed.
I know at this point I can:
A) Try to return it for another game
B) Attempt the manual installation.
Relic- you guys have made a great game I love it… .If it would only work more than one time. I really hope somebody can give a somewhat official explanation of why there are so many installation errors and provide some organized guidance for those who have no problem running DOW but cannot correctly install WA.
I really want to play this game I have eagerly awaited and purchased! I do not wish to waste time doing a time consuming manual install if that has little chance of succeeding or is only a limited fix. I also don’t want to go the store and return my copy for another one that will just have the same problems.
Any help or advice is greatly appreciated, especially from Relic or THQ.
