looking at the entire first page on this forum, you can tell theres been a few issues with the release of this game. technically speaking.

installs dont work, errors trying to get into multiplayer, graphical issues. my error is the most common "installation error, reinstall DoW and WA."

did they rush this expansion to meet the 1 year anniversary mark of Dow? did they completely miss all these errors while testing? are they even going to address these issues and let us know atleast a timeframe when we can expect to be able to play the game WE PAID FOR? i havent seen any mention on the thq homepage, the dow homepage, or any official threads on the matter.

this is very irritating because i was looking forward to being able to play this on my weekend off, but i guess ill just stare at my nifty useless $30 box until it gets fixed.

Can a representative from this Fan site get in touch with the Relic PR ppl to see if THEY can maybe get a timeframe going for us?

well they better hurry up because i told my buddy the other night that the game is bugged for me and he was going to buy it. not now. others will be doing the same so they better get into gear.

It's been two days since the game was released, and we've had countless reports of bugs causing the game not to run. If they don't get on the ball, then it's safe to safe they pulled an EA.

I am having the install type of error. I called the Gamestop where I purchased WA and was told that I can't return a game once opend. The Manager told me that I would have to take it up with the vendor and that he had not had any other compliants.

I will be putting in a complaint tomorrow, its clear relic rushed WA without testing, what a sad shame :(

Odd. I was able to return mine to the Gamestop where I bought it from, and the guys who worked there were super nice about it.

well i have been trying to figure this out now for a total of 14 hours or so since yesterday and from 3pm today until now. its irritating that i am not playing a game and just looking at a freaking screen thinking.

Its very sad to me that WA is a wreck before it even took off. If Relic wanted to support their game like they said then they would have been better served not to release WA at all than release this unfinished s&*@. That said they better patch this soon or theyre going to lose a lot of customers.

getlemen (and ladies?)

go to relic.com and fill in a HELP ME form. This will go to relic support people and fil them in as to whats going on. You will need to type in your processor, graphics card, RAM etc etc.

Included on the form is your email.

Relic will send you an email confirming that they received your technical issue.
The email says that it takes 2 days for them to get to it at a maximum.

The email also includes Relic support phone number (818 number...is it free? doubt it)
you can call them and listen to machine voice drone that prehaps you will better use the internet to fix your problem :-)

I called the THQ (818) number it said the call center was closed due to technical difficulties. I had a phone tree for technical assistance. It asks you to enter a product code(49249) is what is in the WA book. When I enterred the code the phone system booted me!!!

And once more: THQ does support, not Relic.
