Original DOW Closes without reason and closes half way through uninstall

I try to load up orignal DOW so i can uninstall it...but half way through loading the install shield thingy it closes.......i searched through the DOW files and i cant find DOW.EXE and UNINSTALL.EXE
please help me or i cant play DOW or WA :( :(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

Uninstall manually. First, delete the DoW folder.
Then, click on start, select run, type regedit, hit enter.
In the new window, use the menu on the left to navigate here:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\THQ
Find the folder called "Dawn of War" and delete it.
