I guess i will do this then.

First start off by taking the relic just above your base and build a few turret's around it at the back then start to Tec for the avtar of khane.

I got about 5 squad's of warp spider's and since i throught it was best to have troops able to move around fast since you need to move around a fair bit lator on.

The first necron's will show up about 5 mins in to the map and its easy to kill just use the soul stone and bang it is destroyed.

You then find out more nercon's are coming and the soul stone will not be ready in time but who need's it since you build a few BS and move them to the Titan guns where they will take control of them.

There is the IG around the titan but its nothing to bother with since they ally with you soon.

Chaos and Ork's pop when the next wave of nercon's spwarn witch is why you should place the turret's at the relic to stop them coming in the back of your base as you kill the nercon's form the front and side's.

Wait till the first nercon's come close befor you fire the titan guns since they will try to fade in to the warp befor you kill them this is where warp spider's come in.

Once you fire the titan gun facing the nercon's hywire grenade it to deal some damage and it should keep it still till the titan gun is ready to fire again.

Once you killed 2 out of the 3 that poped the soul stone should be ready to kill the last one.

Bang you won and you get to see a nice vid.

its 1.30am so if any thing is worng i will alter it when i wake up.

Hooray Necrons are in this!! As Imperial Guard became the new race for expansion... I think its healthy speculation to think that necrons will be added on as another expansion! What good news. Dont own WA yet, just waiting for the pre-order.

I played this mission on hard, but with the right strategy it is rather easy.

At first, capture the strategic point in the west and immedeatly withdraw. Just a little extra requisition.

Second, muster a defence force in your western base. Ranged fighters prefered, Reapers in stand ground mode worked well for me. They will fight of the endless wave of necron infantry. Make sure they stay out of the monolith's range.

When the soul stone is ready, do not use it yet!

Take you time to tech up. Muster a task force (I was using two squaods of warp spiders and the walker) to take all the Strategic points safe the one near the monolith. Take out any imperial resistance that blocks your path.

Get four bonesingers and secure the points with fully upgraded listening posts and some turrents. Secure the Titan guns by building webway gates and a ton of turrents (the more the better, especially at the eastern and southern guns!) upgrade some of them to anti-vehicle guns. A defence line near you webway gate may also prove worthwhile. Don't rush, you have all the time in the world!

In the meantime tech out, produce warp spiders, some walkers, lots of tanks, and the Avatar. Kill all your infanfry but the warlocks in order to make room for even more warp spiders. Upgrade and max out everything!

When you are ready, place a single bonesingers at four of the Titan guns.

Now it's time to use the soulstone.

When the Necron reinforcements arrive take control of the Titan guns as fast as possible! Hotkey them. Storm a monolith of your choice with every single unit at your disposal. Let everyone arm for the monolith, ignoring the infantry. Cycle through the Titan guns, also attacking the monolith. If you require more firepower, you may call in the Imperials to aid your assault.

Rinse and repeat, the forts you established at the listening posts and titan guns will fend off the disorder forces and slow down the Necrons, buying you the time you need in order to destroy the monoliths before they reach your base or disable the Titan guns.

I dont know if my game was bigged or what but the necrons seemed to only go to a certain point and then THEY bunkered down. no movement at all unless I attacked them. Made for a pretty breazy last mission. the damn orcs gave me more trouble then those metal morons.

*off-topic* I trekon those fellas at the Necron mod will be finished before we get another expansion (with the money being on Necrons as the new race).

Err...
In the Eldar last mission, how do i use the Titan cannon?
This is not a Joke pls, i finished the game without using the titan ( or it can't be used? )
Btw, reapers are an excellent choice against the necrons... they can just sit & fire while the necrons slowly walk towards thier death, if necrons get too close, send in walkers to hold them back or prisims to knock them back

But i still finished the mission with just soulstone

You just click on those big-ass cannons and then press the red arrow thingy to fire.

I think this is most easy final mission of all 4 races...
The soulstone is so convenient besides the LONG recharge time & the titans cannons recharges so fast... Soulstone 1 hit KO monoliths

I found that if you let the 1st Necrons (after killing the Monolith) get tied up fighting the Guard south-west of you base, you can let the soul stone recharge and get bonesingers to the guns before they Necron Warriors die (it will take a looooooooooooooong time for the Imps or Necrons to die so you will have to kill them off) and trigger the next wave.

Alright, in the begining of the mission, you should have a LOT of resources, at least 10,000 REQ and Power, so you won't need to capture many points, save for the relic behind your base, but it really is optional. The Avatar is optional as well, but he makes a good shield, so it's your choice!

Upgrading and Troop management.

First of all, Don't build Fire Dragons, unless you want to finish off a Necron Monolith quickly.

Guardians work okay against the Necrons, make sure they have Mysticism, cause they'll die easily without a Warlock helping them. Banshees, As I've found, work really well against the Necrons. 3 squads can easily decimate the Necron contingent easily early in the mission. Make sure you have Call of War!

The mission should give you some time to build any neccessary units before the Necrons arrive. Warp Spiders work reasonably well against the Necrons, as long as they don't get roflpwned by the Monoliths backing up the Necron Warriors, so build a few of those units, and send in a Wraithlord to provide as a shield and fire support. In this first part of the mission, make sure you don't expend all of your troops quickly, because there is a lot more to contend with, later on in this mission!

Also, fully upgrade Taldeer, (7,000 HP when you fully upgrade her) and add her to the Seer Council (Which should ALSO be fully reinforced). Eldritch storm is pretty optional here, it's a really good spell if you want to finish off a weakened Monolith. Also build a few Fire Prisms for good measure.(Hey, it's single player!) Turrets are also pretty good as well, and make enough to ensure you don't get flanked from your back and sides.

The Mission.

When the first Necron wave arrives, hold back your troops and let the IG occupy the Necrons, so the Warp Spiders fire without fear of retaliation. Send your wraithlord ( if you are willing to sacrifice one,) to fight both enemy regiments, and your Warp Spiders should be able to shower both Necrons and Imperial Guardsmen, and kill many. Keep in mind, though that the IG won't last very long, and make sure the Necrons aren't firing at any of your infantry, because the Necrons can deal with the Eldar units very quickly. They seem to do enormous damage to vehicles as well, so keep that in mind as well.

When the soulstone is able to be used, make sure you have a sufficient number of troops to contend with the next wave of Necrons occupying all sides. When the first Monolith is destroyed, quickly move your bonesingers to the first Titan Weapon to initiate the Entombing Process. By now the necrons should be killing a lot of Imperial Guard forces, and the Metallic enemies should be a few meters away from your base. You should have at least 4 of the Titan Weapons firing at one Necron Monolith, and this is the annoying part. If a Monolith survives with a small margin of HP left, and you don't fire at it quickly enough, it will "phase away" and it will teleport away from you, and regenerate to at least 60% Health, which is about 14,000 HP. Don't forget about the Soulstone! The more Titan Weapons you capture, the faster the Soulstone regenerates.

Build some more Wraithlords to contend with another Monolith to the East, and this will, again buy you more time. After blowing up about 2 Monoliths with the Titan Weapons, Sturnn's troops will arrive, and the Taldeer and the General have a talk, and agree on helping each other. This gives you the opportunity to command Sturnn's Kasrkins and Guardsmen with Taldeer, and also gaining the allegiance of the Imperial Guardsmen who were garrisoned around your base, although there probably won't be many left.

When about 2 or 3 Monoliths remain, the forces of disorder will arrive, and they will try to flank your base from behind with both Chaos and Ork troops. Using Taldeer, order the Imperial Troops to help protect the back of your base, while your Bonesingers entomb more parts of the Titan. If you can be fast enough, you may be able to destroy all of the Monoliths before the forces of Disorder can arrive at your base.

Also, If the Imperial Guard ( controlled by Taldeer ) can be used wisely, they can hold back a lot of Chaos troops. When the last Monoliths are destroyed, the mission will end in your victory!

I didn't need anything else in this mission other than banshees. I went through the mission just fine without any troubles.

I finished this one (on Normal) without summoning the avatar and without capping all the titan guns. While the necrons were busy with the IG outposts, I started capturing the forward-most guns, I ended up with 3 or 4 of them. Then I just used them to blast the monoliths as they came into range. I used my Farseer+SC in a few hit-and-run raids, and some Dark Reapers and Warp Spiders to defend the base, but they didn't even see that much fighting. Overall, much easier than the previous mission.

Ditto to that Slashco, i didnt use the Avatar either.

Used FPs to keep those Necrons off my Reapers though.

Just played through this mission again, lots of fun.

Beat it on Insane, quite easily.

First build build reaper, and warp spiders, and put them on ranged stance. Cap the Relic. Get 4 BS out, and build webway gates. Tech up to Avatar, whilst capturing the titan guns. Once you have your avatar and have build like 6 prism's its easy as hell. I go off and destroy the chaos and ork bases as well as owning the Necrons. The titan guns are awesome on large group of necrons, and on the Chaos HQ.

Also make use of Taldeer and her abilty to control the guard.
