Hi

Well, as the subject says : The whirlwinds in Mission 4 simply don't fire. The yellow bar begins to fill, but aborts before it is finished and with just the Assault Marines I am not able to finish off the Orc Base. I have restarted the mission multiple times, I even reinstalled the game and started from the beginning, assuming that maybe my savegames were corrupted - but the problem still persists. I am of course using version 1.40 of DoW. There are also some strange errors in the warnings.log which I don't quite understand, especially errors referring to missing files or directories. Aside from this, the game runs fine. And one last question : Is the music supposed to run all the time in the background or is it somehow event-triggered ?

I had a similar problem. I realised that i had them too close to the edge and they wouldnt fire. Moved them back a little and also took them out of the HOLD FIRE stance and shazam, One completely destroyed orkie base.

Try both and see.

Apparently the missing file error messages are normal. If the game runs fine consider yourself one of the lucky ones. For many it no longer runs at all.

But what do you mean by : "For many it no longer runs at all."
