Greets, fellow Warrior Monks (and other assorted heretics)!
Had a question for someone in the know. First off, I've got the full install of Dawn of War updated to 1.4 and working fine on my AMD Athlon 64 3500+ she-beast under Windows XP64. I have also downloaded DoW's Winter Assault demo, though not as yet installed it. I am also planning on purchasing the full version of Winter Assault sometime in the next two months, probably before Xmas 2005. I'm planning on installing the demo in the next couple of days (yes, I know you shouldn't install any full games over demos or vice versa), thus my question: if I do install the Winter Assault demo now, which as far as I know is a standalone as opposed to the full version that interacts intimately with the base DoW full install, will there be any conflict with the eventual full install of Winter Assault as long as the demo install (and related icons) of either Winter Assault or the demo install of the original Dawn of War are kept wholly seperate from the full install (I speak of it singularly, as the two are integrated when installed, AFAIK) of DoW/Winter Assault?
I submit that this may be a strange question, but I've really enjoyed the gameplay in DoW and I'd like to familiarize myself with Winter Assault before I get the full game in November or December. Thanks for whatever help you can supply.
