Didnt you guys notice that the baneblade is kind of lacking?
its supposed to deal SICK damage with all these barrels it got, but it doesnt, hell, i dont even see it fire all of them.

Once i sent a baneblade alone to kill an upgraded listening post.
it was shooting.
and shooting.
and shooting.
and shooting.
it took a damn long while to kill it.
an ogryn squad would kill the damn post faster than the baneblade which is supposed to eat people.

Ya sure it makes a nice FLASH and then a loud BOOM!! but thats it, 2-3 leman russes are a better choice than this enourmous 12 barrel tank doing almost no damage.

its a bug? or is it "working as intended"??

right now the baneblade is nothing else than the best eye-candy i saw in an rts game, but i want more than just eye-candiness, i want it to DO DAMAGE :(


thoughts? flames?

Several questions:

1: Where you just using the Mega-battlecannon or all the weapons?
2: What level lp was it?

The MB seem to only really hurt infantry, the Demolisher cannon and lascannons do the AV/AB damage in my experiance. If you get all 3 twinlinked heavy bolters and both Lazcannons on one target along with the ordanace weapons things die fast.

Actually I think the baneblade ranged damage seems weak.

If you look at the ranged damage it does compared to the landraider or other relic units or hell even some normal units it dosn't appear to be that special.

Then again maybe that 100ish number is just a typo bug and thats what makes me think its poor.

Don't take the info sheet numbers as the real thing. They maynot be the weapon you think. Maybe the damage listed is for say only the hull heavy bolter? Also the damage listed there doesn't include armour penetration values and such. This has been a known fact since the Dev tools where released.
