keyboard shortcuts/hotkeys stop working

I have a problem where the keyboard shortcuts/hotkeys stop working in a game. This happens randomly and lasts the entire game. I think other people have experienced this problem also.

Can anyone advise what is going on? My warnings.log file makes no mention of a keyboard issue, or any error for that matter.

This is a known issue with the Keybinding file. I can't remember the fix for it though. We really need a sicky in the MLT for this problem.

The problem will go away if I play another game though. Does the file becomes corrupted and then un-corrupted?

And, yhea, it would be great if this was in the sticky because loads of people on-line say their keyboard stops working in a game.

Do you alt-tab out of the game sometimes?

Yeah, I find when this happens it is because I alt-tabed out of the game. To fix it: Alt-Tab out and back in when they are not working.

I don't think that I alt-tab out of the game when this happens. But maybe I'll try it and see what happens.

Just so that I'm clear bout this, is this a bug or is it something else?
