Well my friend and me got a lil bit trouble to play together dow wa , the problem is that if I join a game he cant join this game , and the same if i try to join a game that he has just joined , my friend an me dont have any firewalls but we play with a Router.

So the problem is that we just canīt play together untill we found that problem

Are you trying to play over gamespy, or through the direct connect option.

If so you'll have to fiddle with your router a bit and you might also have to open you DMZ host for the person who wants to host. Also, you need (I don't know how DoW does this but...) to know your actuall IP address as your router more then likley changes it up a bit.

A bit off topic: To find your actuall address, go Start->Run type "ipconfig" or Start-> Accessories-> Command Prompt type "ipconfig"

A DOS looking window will open and look for what it says in "IP ADDRESS".

If you are doing direct connect, give us the make and model of your router as different one have different methods of configureing them.

Yes we try to play over gamespy , the funny thing is that it worked just fine 2 weeks ago , well i canīt remember on any updates on my pc , my friend just too , but it worked fine few weeks ago and now we canīt play together ...well i donīt think its a problem with our router , but i just donīt know what it can be , and that makes me a lil bit angry , wait to play or sitting and try to find the problem isnīt fun , but tried my best to find it out , no success

well guys now only you can help me
