Problems with patch 1.01

I'm looking for some answers to a problem in patch 1.01.
It's called 1628:Failed to complete installation.So far I tried to down load it three times and tried to install it three times.

If any body can help me it would be very helpful

Hi I have the same problem.
Warning error!

Patching error: This patch is incompatible with the language version of Dawn of War installed on your system.

This displays me either when i try to use both English and International patch. I have "game of the year" edition. Even gamespy does not detect the game, and it should! And since its not patched, it dont allow me to connect to online servers. HEEEEEEELPMEEEEE PLZ. thx

The Game of the Year version is pre-patched to 1.40, you dont need any patches.

What error do you get when you try to connect to gamespy? Post the results from this (http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=63593).
