Seems like the reason why my Dawn of war and other games seem to be choppy, and sluggish during extensive gameplay is because my AGP Texturing is not Supported.

Can someone go through step by step with me on how to get this driver or update? I am desperate :o

Radeon9800 pro. I made sure VertSync was off, got the latest drivers. I got the latest DirectX. I did my DXDIAG, and the only thing it says is that my AGP Status is Not available.

My AGP acceleration is not supported it says.

And maybe all this happens because of too-high graphics options selected in-game hmm?

In my regular Dawn of war I can set everything up to max (except shadows) and things run smoothly. Ive never experienced any of this in DoW

WA on the other hand cripples me. Even on the lowest settings. IT makes no sense

havoc: no, the game isnt going to cause AGP to be unavailable.

Well. There are two things TBS, it seems to be MSI, and then VIA. They both had drivers that I think I might need. I shall link them.

I have a K8T800 chipset, MSI K8T Neo-FIS2R (MS-6702) Motherboard, and A Radeon9800 pro. I will resubmit my DXDIAG (It might have changed since I did some more updates).

I have tried AGP FastWrite on and off, doesnt seem to make a difference. Should I keep it on or off?

On the second link, get the top file (VIA HyperionPro Driver Package).

As to AGP fastwrite - when you actually get AGP working turn it on and test, if there are any issues then try with it off...otherwise leave it on.
